Franka Suerbaum-Ahrens
Head of the language schools FSA “Language and Communication” and FSA-MedicDaF in Heidelberg
After her graduation in Northern Germany and her law studies, she was admitted to the German Bar in 1992.
During the long time she spent abroad, her professional focus shifted from working as a lawyer towards teaching foreign languages.
After additional training at the Goethe Institute in Munich, she worked at Flying Teachers GmbH Switzerland/Headquarters Zurich as a freelance language and communication trainer from 1998-2007. She led trainings and workshops for international businesses and banks on German as a foreign language (specialized on economy and law) and conducted language trainings for private clients.
Since her return to Heidelberg in 2007, she has organized and led work-related language trainings for corporate and private clients in the Rhine-Neckar area.
Besides coaching corporate and private clients, her focus with FSA-MedicDaF lies on organizing and leading training courses for foreign professionals in the field of medicine and care.
